“6 New Things To Do & Eat In Chicago This Week” – The Infatuation

As vaccination rates continue to rise and things start to open back up, the concept of “making plans” is starting to re-enter our lives. And your usual excuse of, “Sorry, I already have plans,” probably won’t work for a few months. So, if you’re in need of ideas, here are six new openings, events, and special menus to check out this week.

On April 26th, Recess (the City Hall-themed bar in the West Loop) is hosting Cat-Su Sando, a pop-up that specializes in (you guessed it) katsu sandos. Starting at 4pm, you can sit on their huge outdoor patio and order fried chicken sandos topped with cabbage and Cat-Su sauce on milk bread.
